Journal ArticleDOI
Sustained microglial depletion with CSF1R inhibitor impairs parenchymal plaque development in an Alzheimer's disease model.
Elizabeth E. Spangenberg,Paul Severson,Lindsay A. Hohsfield,Joshua D. Crapser,Jiazhong Zhang,Elizabeth A. Burton,Ying Zhang,Wayne Spevak,Jack Lin,Nicole Y. Phan,Gaston Habets,Andrey Rymar,Garson Tsang,Jason Walters,Marika Nespi,Parmveer Singh,Stephanie Broome,Prabha N. Ibrahim,Chao Zhang,Gideon Bollag,Brian L. West,Kim N. Green +21 more
TL;DR: It is found that microglial depletion in a mouse model of Alzheimer’s disease impairs plaque formation and that Aβ-induced changes in neuronal gene expression are microglia-mediated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Simulation of land use spatial pattern of towns and villages based on CA-Markov model
TL;DR: The result shows that the land resource demands of urban development and population growth lead to the spatial pattern changes of land use in towns and villages and a method for the simulation of spatial patterns is proposed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ultrastable In-Plane 1T–2H MoS2 Heterostructures for Enhanced Hydrogen Evolution Reaction
Journal ArticleDOI
Discovery of nitrate–CPK–NLP signalling in central nutrient–growth networks
Kun-Hsiang Liu,Kun-Hsiang Liu,Yajie Niu,Mineko Konishi,Yue Wu,Hao Du,Hoo Sun Chung,Lei Li,Marie Boudsocq,Marie Boudsocq,Matthew McCormack,Shugo Maekawa,Tetsuya Ishida,Chao Zhang,Kevan M. Shokat,Shuichi Yanagisawa,Jen Sheen +16 more
TL;DR: This work reports unique Ca2+ signalling triggered by nitrate with live imaging of an ultrasensitive biosensor in Arabidopsis leaves and roots, which impair nitrate-stimulated system-wide shoot growth and root establishment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Heterometallic antenna-reactor complexes for photocatalysis
Dayne F. Swearer,Hangqi Zhao,Linan Zhou,Chao Zhang,Hossein Robatjazi,John Mark P. Martirez,Caroline M. Krauter,Sadegh Yazdi,Michael J. McClain,Emilie Ringe,Emily A. Carter,Peter Nordlander,Naomi J. Halas +12 more
TL;DR: It is shown that coupling a plasmonic nanoantenna directly to catalytic nanoparticles enables the light-induced generation of hot carriers within the catalyst nanoparticles, transforming the entire complex into an efficient light-controlled reactive catalyst.
