Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Smoking Cessation
TL;DR: Interventions provided for smokers with COPD suggest that multiple modalities are needed, and smoking cessation counseling in combination with nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) appears to be the most effective modality followed by smoking cessation in conjunction with an antidepressant to enhance prolonged abstinence.
