Journal ArticleDOI
Planar perovskite solar cells with long-term stability using ionic liquid additives
Sai Bai,Sai Bai,Peimei Da,Cheng Li,Cheng Li,Zhiping Wang,Zhongcheng Yuan,Fan Fu,Maciej Kawecki,Maciej Kawecki,Xianjie Liu,Nobuya Sakai,Jacob Tse-Wei Wang,Sven Huettner,Stephan Buecheler,Mats Fahlman,Feng Gao,Feng Gao,Henry J. Snaith +18 more
TL;DR: Addition of an ionic liquid, BMIMBF4, to metal halide perovskite solar cells improves their efficiency and long-term operation under accelerated aging conditions of high temperature and full-spectrum sunlight.
Journal ArticleDOI
Iodine Migration and its Effect on Hysteresis in Perovskite Solar Cells.
Cheng Li,Steffen Tscheuschner,Fabian Paulus,Paul E. Hopkinson,Johannes Kießling,Anna Köhler,Yana Vaynzof,Sven Huettner +7 more
TL;DR: The migration and accumulation of iodide ions create a modulation of the respective interfacial barriers causing the hysteresis in solar cells based on methylammonium lead iodide perovskites.
Journal ArticleDOI
Capturing the Sun: A Review of the Challenges and Perspectives of Perovskite Solar Cells
Michiel L. Petrus,Johannes Schlipf,Cheng Li,Tanaji P. Gujar,Nadja Giesbrecht,Peter Müller-Buschbaum,Mukundan Thelakkat,Thomas Bein,Sven Hüttner,Pablo Docampo,Pablo Docampo +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, a review of the challenges and possible solutions of hybrid metal halide perovskite crystallization process is described, and the long-term prospects of the technology in terms of stability and sustainability are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Real-Time Observation of Iodide Ion Migration in Methylammonium Lead Halide Perovskites.
Cheng Li,Antonio Guerrero,Yu Zhong,Anna Gräser,Carlos A. Luna,Carlos A. Luna,Jürgen Köhler,Juan Bisquert,Juan Bisquert,Richard Hildner,Sven Huettner +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, correlated wide-field PL microscopy and impedance spectroscopy are utilized on perovskite films to in situ investigate both the spatial and the temporal evolution of these photoluminescence inactive areas under external electric fields.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Thermal and Structural Disorder on the Electronic Structure of Hybrid Perovskite Semiconductor CH3NH3PbI3
Shivam Singh,Cheng Li,Fabian Panzer,K. L. Narasimhan,Anna Graeser,Tanaji P. Gujar,Anna Köhler,Mukundan Thelakkat,Sven Huettner,Dinesh Kabra +9 more
TL;DR: It is shown that in the perovskites reported here, theTemperature coefficient of thermal expansion is large and accounts for the positive temperature coefficient of the band gap, and a detailed analysis of the exciton line width allows us to distinguish between static and dynamic disorder.
