Journal ArticleDOI
Theoretical insight into the structure-property relationship of mixed transition metal oxides nanofibers doped in activated carbon and 3D graphene for capacitive deionization
Ahmed S. Yasin,Ahmed Yousef Mohamed,Ibrahim M.A. Mohamed,Ibrahim M.A. Mohamed,Deok-Yong Cho,Chan Hee Park,Cheol Sang Kim +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the combination of graphene hydrogel and ZrO2-doped TiO2 nanofibers as efficient dopants into activated carbon (AC), has been achieved through a simple electrospinning technique followed by a post annealing process.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrospinning Directly Synthesized Porous TiO2 Nanofibers Modified by Graphitic Carbon Nitride Sheets for Enhanced Photocatalytic Degradation Activity under Solar Light Irradiation
TL;DR: The synergistic effect between the g-C3N4 sheets and the TiO2 NFs having anisotropic properties enhanced the photogenerated electron-hole pair separation and migration, which was confirmed by the measured photoluminescence spectra, cyclic voltammograms, and electrochemical impedance spectra.
Journal ArticleDOI
Processing and characterization of electrospun graphene oxide/polyurethane composite nanofibers for stent coating
Hem Raj Pant,Hem Raj Pant,Hem Raj Pant,Pashupati Pokharel,Mahesh Kumar Joshi,Surya Prasad Adhikari,Han Joo Kim,Chan Hee Park,Cheol Sang Kim +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an in situ polymerization technique is applied to fabricate graphene oxide (GO) loaded electrospun PU fibers and its application on nonvascular stent coating was performed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Simple Colorimetric and Fluorescence Chemosensing Probe for Selective Detection of Sn2+ Ions in an Aqueous Solution: Evaluation of the Novel Sensing Mechanism and Its Bioimaging Applications.
Palanisamy Ravichandiran,Vignesh Krishnamoorthi Kaliannagounder,Antony Paulraj Bella,Anna Boguszewska-Czubara,Maciej Masłyk,Cheol Sang Kim,Chan Hee Park,Princy Merlin Johnson,Byung-Hyun Park,Myung-Kwan Han,Ae Rhan Kim,Ae Rhan Kim,Dong Jin Yoo,Dong Jin Yoo +13 more
TL;DR: Bioimaging studies demonstrated that the chemosensing probe 4CBS is an effective fluorescent marker for the detection of Sn2+ in living cells and zebrafish and was able to discriminate between Sn2 + in human cancer cells and Sn2- in normal live cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
One-step fabrication of antibacterial (silver nanoparticles/poly(ethylene oxide)) – Polyurethane bicomponent hybrid nanofibrous mat by dual-spinneret electrospinning
Leonard D. Tijing,Michael Tom G. Ruelo,Altangerel Amarjargal,Altangerel Amarjargal,Hem Raj Pant,Hem Raj Pant,Chan Hee Park,Cheol Sang Kim +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the fabrication of a hybrid, bimodal nanofibrous mat made of two polymeric nanometers: polyurethane (PU) and silver (Ag) nanoparticle (NP) was reported.
