3D Morphable Models (Dagstuhl Seminar 19102)

TL;DR: The Dagstuhl 2019 Workshop on 3D Morphable Models as mentioned in this paper was the first specific meeting of a broader group of people working with 3D morphable models of faces and bodies.

FIRe: Fast Inverse Rendering using Directional and Signed Distance Functions

TL;DR: In this paper , the directional distance function (DDF) is proposed to predict the distance to the surface along any given direction, which can be used to reconstruct 3D shapes given a posed depth map.

Adiabatic Quantum Graph Matching with Permutation Matrix Constraints

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated several ways to inject permutation matrix constraints in a quadratic unconstrained binary optimization problem which can be mapped to quantum hardware and obtained a sufficient spectral gap, which further increased the probability to measure optimal solutions and valid permutation matrices in a single run.
