Time domain investigation of the intrachain vibrational dynamics of a prototypical light-emitting conjugated polymer.
TL;DR: Characteristic features of the intrachain vibrational dynamics are obtained and vibrational dephasing in the excited state within 1 ps is observed, in agreement with the molecular picture for photoexcitation in conjugated polymers.
