Journal ArticleDOI
Quantitative imaging of shunts in organic photovoltaic modules using lock-in thermography
S. Besold,U. Hoyer,Julien Bachmann,T. Swonke,Pavel Schilinsky,Roland Steim,Christoph J. Brabec +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a precise method is presented to determine shunt values in solar modules consisting of series connected bulk-heterojunction organic solar cells without the need to access the single cells separately.

Photovoltaic Cell Having Multiple Electron Donors
Markus C. Scharber,Markus Koppe,Pavel Schilinsky,Christoph J. Brabec,Stelios A. Choulis,Gilles Dennler,Hans-Joachim Egelhaaf,Markus Biele,Claudia N. Hoth +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a typical photovoltaic cell (100) comprises electrodes (120, 160) and a photivoltaic layer (140) comprising the multiple electron donors and/or multiple acceptors, as well as related components, modules, systems, and methods.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Impact of COVID-19-Related Measures on the Solar Resource in Areas with High Levels of Air Pollution
TL;DR: It is confirmed that reduced levels of air pollution correlate with unusually high levels of clear sky insolation in Delhi, India, and Measurements and calculations agree within confidence intervals, suggesting that reduced pollution levels are a major cause for the observed increase in insolation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparison of Drone-based IR-imaging with Module Resolved Monitoring Power Data
Janine Teubner,Ingmar Kruse,Hans Scheuerpflug,Claudia Buerhop-Lutz,Jens Hauch,Christian Camus,Christoph J. Brabec +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, two testing methods for photovoltaic (PV) plants, an infrared (IR)-measurement aerial system and a monitoring system on module level, are compared with respect to their capabilities for identifying irregularities of PV panels in a PV plant.
