Biomarkers of conversion to α-synucleinopathy in isolated rapid-eye-movement sleep behaviour disorder
Mitchell G. Miglis,Charles H. Adler,Elena Antelmi,Dario Arnaldi,Luca Baldelli,Bradley F. Boeve,Matteo Cesari,Irene Dall'Antonia,Nico J. Diederich,Kathrin Doppler,Petr Dusek,Raffaele Ferri,Jean Gagnon,Ziv Gan-Or,Wiebke Hermann,Birgit Högl,Michele T.M. Hu,Alex Iranzo,Annette Janzen,Anastasia Kuzkina,Jee Young Lee,Klaus L. Oertel +38 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed reliable biomarkers that can better predict conversion to clinically manifest α-synucleinopathies in patients with isolated rapid-eye-movement sleep behavior disorder (RBD).
Journal ArticleDOI
Peripheral blood inflammatory markers in early Parkinson's disease.
Ryul Kim,Han Joon Kim,Aryun Kim,Mihee Jang,Ahro Kim,Yoon Jun Kim,Dallah Yoo,Jin Hee Im,Ji Hyun Choi,Beomseok Jeon +9 more
TL;DR: Increased peripheral inflammation in the early stage of PD is suggested, and a correlation between IL-10 levels and gastrointestinal symptoms is found, which may simply reflect a protective response against inflammatory processes associated with the disease.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sensing behaviour of semconducting metal oxides for the detection of organophosphorus compounds
TL;DR: In this article, the sensing properties of doped SnO 2 and ZnO elements have been investigated for the detection of organophosphorus compounds, and it has been suggested that the basic oxide additives are effective in aiding dissociative adsorption of DMMP on the oxide surface, thus facilitating the oxidation reaction of the test gas.
Journal ArticleDOI
Early-onset generalized dystonia starting in the lower extremities in a patient with a novel ANO3 variant.
Dallah Yoo,Han Joon Kim,Jin Sook Lee,Sangmoon Lee,Soo Yeon Kim,Murim Choi,Jong Hee Chae,Beomseok Jeon +7 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Sex differences in smoking, alcohol consumption, and risk of Parkinson's disease: A nationwide cohort study.
TL;DR: The authors' data suggest sex-related differences in individual and joint impacts of smoking and alcohol intake on the risk of Parkinson's disease are suggested.
