Attachment and trait forgivingness: The mediating role of angry rumination
TL;DR: In this article, the authors predicted that secure attachment reduces angry rumination and promotes forgiving. But they did not investigate the mediating role of angry ruminations in the attachment-forgivingness relation and found that individuals who were classified as securely attached displayed greater forgivingness than did insecurely attached individuals.

Factors influencing ratings of marital quality by individuals within dual-career marriages: A conceptual model.
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed and tested a model of marital quality among individuals (52 men, 55 women) in dual-career marriages, which was constructed within a social role framework and includes variables that positively influence marital quality, those that negatively influence spouse quality, and those that mediate the relationship between the negative factors and marital quality.
