TL;DR: A measurement of the reduced transition probability for the excitation of the ground state to the first 2+ state in 104Sn has been performed using relativistic Coulomb excitation at GSI, indicating a robust N = Z = 50 shell closure.

TL;DR: The first evidence for β-delayed proton emission from the 16 + spin gap isomer in 96Cd is presented in this article, where βp branching ratios for the ground state and 16 + isomer have been extracted along with more precise lifetimes for these states and the lifetime for ground state decay of 95Cd.

High-resolution gamma backscatter imaging for technical applications
TL;DR: In this article, a point-like positron source is placed in front of the object to be examined, and a position detector behind the source measuring 511 keV γ-rays from positron annihilation determines the direction of the correlated 511 kV σ-rays used to probe the object.
