Journal ArticleDOI
Quantifying protein‐protein interactions by molecular counting with mass photometry
Fabian Soltermann,Eric D. B. Foley,Veronica Pagnoni,Martin R. Galpin,Justin L. P. Benesch,Philipp Kukura,Weston B. Struwe +6 more
TL;DR: It is shown that mass photometry can accurately count, distinguish by molecular mass, and thereby reveal the relative abundances of different unlabelled biomolecules and their complexes in mixtures at the single‐molecule level.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hyper-truncated Asn355- and Asn391-glycans modulate the activity of neutrophil granule myeloperoxidase.
Harry C. Tjondro,Julian Ugonotti,Rebeca Kawahara,Sayantani Chatterjee,Ian Loke,Siyun Chen,Fabian Soltermann,Hannes Hinneburg,Benjamin L. Parker,Vignesh Venkatakrishnan,Regis Dieckmann,Oliver C. Grant,Johan Bylund,Alison Rodger,Robert J. Woods,Anna Karlsson-Bengtsson,Anna Karlsson-Bengtsson,Weston B. Struwe,Morten Thaysen-Andersen +18 more
TL;DR: Novel functional roles of MPO glycans are reported, providing new insight into neutrophil-mediated immunity and molecular modelling revealed that hyper-truncated Asn355-glycans positioned in the MPO-ceruloplasmin interface are critical for uninterrupted inhibition.

Journal ArticleDOI
Label-free methods for optical in vitro characterization of protein–protein interactions
TL;DR: In this article, the authors provide an overview and comparison of existing techniques and their principles, discussing advantages, limitations, and recent applications, as well as their application in protein-protein interaction quantification.
