TL;DR: In this paper, a narrative review of ongoing activities across sectors was undertaken to improve antimicrobial use and address issues with vaccines including COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in multiple initiatives internationally, nationally and regionally to enhance appropriate antibiotic utilization across sectors to reduce AMR.

The availability, prices and affordability of essential medicines in Malawi: A cross-sectional study
TL;DR: For 18 out of 32 medicines assessed, the cost of one course exceeded the statutory minimum daily wage, making them unaffordable to a majority of the population, so continued provision of free public health care is still of critical importance for the foreseeable future.
