Journal ArticleDOI

CD57 in human natural killer cells and T-lymphocytes.

TL;DR: Current understanding of the attributes of CD57-expressing T-cells and NK cells in both health and disease is reviewed and how this marker can inform researchers about their likely functions in human blood and tissues in vivo is discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Inflammatory and immune markers associated with physical frailty syndrome: findings from Singapore longitudinal aging studies.

TL;DR: An association between inflammation, cellular immunity, and the process of frailty is supported, which has significance for the early identification ofFrailty using circulating biomarkers prior to clinical manifestations of severe functional decline in the elderly.
Journal ArticleDOI

Minimal Crossover between Mutations Associated with Omicron Variant of SARS-CoV-2 and CD8+ T-Cell Epitopes Identified in COVID-19 Convalescent Individuals

TL;DR: It is suggested that virtually all individuals with existing anti-SARS- CoV-2 CD8+ T-cell responses should recognize the Omicron VOC and that SARS-CoV- 2 has not evolved extensive T- cell escape mutations at this time.
