Journal ArticleDOI

Distinct microglial response against Alzheimer's amyloid and tau pathologies characterized by P2Y12 receptor

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined P2Y12 receptor expression in the brains of both Alzheimer's disease and non-Alzheimer's disease tauopathy patients and tau pathology model mice (rTg4510 and PS19 mouse lines) and found that microglial levels in regions enriched with tau inclusions, despite an increase in the total microglia population.
Posted ContentDOI

Synthesis and preclinical evaluation of [11C]MTP38 as a novel PET ligand for phophodiesterase 7 in the brain

TL;DR: In-vivo PET after radioligand injection to rats and monkeys demonstrated that radioactivity was rapidly distributed to the brain and intensely accumulated in the striatum relative to the cerebellum, providing the first successful preclinical demonstration of in- vivo PDE7 imaging with a specific PET radiolIGand.
Journal ArticleDOI

Radiosynthesis of [thiocarbonyl-11C]disulfiram and its first PET study in mice.

TL;DR: In vivo metabolite analysis showed the rapid decomposition of [11C]DSF in mouse plasma as well as the uptake level and distribution pattern in mice were not significantly affected by the Am value of the [ 11C] DSF sample used.
