Automatic detection of objective prism stellar spectra

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a new method for automatic detection of stellar spectra on digitally-scanned objective prism plates, which is based on signal processing techniques with emphasis on obtaining the maximum signal-to-noise ratio from the data, as well as on applying a number of morphological criteria of one-dimensional stellar Spectra images.

Young stellar structures in four nearby galaxies

TL;DR: In this article, a modified friends of friends algorithm was used to identify the young stellar population of local groups of galaxies by identifying stellar structures in small and large scales, and the results showed that the average size in each category of the identified structures in the Local Group galaxies presents values consistent with the detected structures in relatively distant spiral galaxies.

Gaia Data Release 3 Analysis of RVS spectra using the General Stellar Parametriser from spectroscopy

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors propose a solution to solve the problem of the problem: this paper ] of "uniformity" and "uncertainty" of the solution.
