Journal ArticleDOI
Maturation and persistence of the anti-SARS-CoV-2 memory B cell response.
Aurélien Sokal,Pascal Chappert,Giovanna Barba-Spaeth,Anaïs Roeser,Slim Fourati,Imane Azzaoui,Alexis Vandenberghe,Ignacio Fernandez,Annalisa Meola,Magali Bouvier-Alias,Etienne Crickx,Asma Beldi-Ferchiou,Sophie Hue,Laetitia Languille,Marc Michel,Samia Baloul,Marine Luka,Marine Luka,Jérôme Mégret,Mickaël M. Ménager,Mickaël M. Ménager,Jean-Michel Pawlotsky,Simon Fillatreau,Félix A. Rey,Jean-Claude Weill,Claude-Agnès Reynaud,Matthieu Mahévas +26 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a longitudinal single-cell and repertoire profiling of the B cell response up to 6 months in mild and severe COVID-19 patients was performed, showing that an antigen-driven activation persisted and matured up to six months after SARS-CoV-2 infection and may provide longterm protection.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that an antigen-driven activation persisted and matured up to 6 months after SARS-CoV-2 infection and may provide long-term protection.
Journal ArticleDOI
The NtrY/X two-component system of Brucella spp. acts as a redox sensor and regulates the expression of nitrogen respiration enzymes.
Mariela del Carmen Carrica,Ignacio Fernandez,Marcelo A. Martí,Gastón Paris,Fernando Alberto Goldbaum +4 more
TL;DR: This work shows that the Brucella abortus NtrY/NtrX two‐component system is involved in oxygen sensing through a haem group contained in a Per‐ARNT‐SIM (PAS) domain of the NTrY histidine kinase, and postulates that Ntry acts as a redox sensor in BrucellA spp.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analysis of mRNA vaccination-elicited RBD-specific memory B cells reveals strong but incomplete immune escape of the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant
Aurélien Sokal,M M Broketa,Giovanna Barba-Spaeth,Annalisa Meola,Ignacio Fernandez,Slim Fourati,Imane Azzaoui,Andréa de la Selle,Alexis Vandenberghe,Anaïs Roeser,Magali Bouvier-Alias,Etienne Crickx,Laetitia Languille,Marc Michel,Bertrand Godeau,Sebastien Gallien,Giovanna Melica,Yann Nguyen,Virginie Zarrouk,Florence Canoui-Poitrine,F. TL;DR: In this article , the authors assessed the affinity and neutralization potency against the Omicron variant of several hundred naturally expressed MBC-derived monoclonal IgG antibodies from vaccinated COVID-19-recovered and -naive individuals.
Journal ArticleDOI
The two‐component systems PrrBA and NtrYX co‐ordinately regulate the adaptation of Brucella abortus to an oxygen‐limited environment
Mariela del Carmen Carrica,Ignacio Fernandez,Rodrigo Sieira,Gastón Paris,Fernando Alberto Goldbaum +4 more
TL;DR: Brucella abortus is a functional two‐component signal transduction system that responds to the redox status and acts as a global regulator controlling the expression of the regulatory proteins NtrY, FnrN and NnrA, which are involved in the adaptation to survive at low oxygen tension.
