Journal ArticleDOI
Involvement of Extracellular Vesicle Long Noncoding RNA (linc-VLDLR) in Tumor Cell Responses to Chemotherapy
TL;DR: Findings provide new insight into the role of EVs and demonstrate the capacity of lncRNAs to mediate chemotherapeutic stress response in HCC.
Journal ArticleDOI
Protein kinase D1 regulates cofilin-mediated F-actin reorganization and cell motility through slingshot
TL;DR: Expression of constitutively active PKD1 in invasive tumour cells enhanced the phosphorylation of cofilin and effectively blocked the formation of free actin-filament barbed ends and directed cell migration.
Journal ArticleDOI
Modulation of hypoxia-signaling pathways by extracellular linc-RoR
TL;DR: These studies show that linc-RoR is a hypoxia-responsive lncRNA that is functionally linked to hypoxian signaling in HCC through a miR-145–HIF-1&agr; signaling module, and identifies a mechanistic role for the extracellular transfer of linc -RoR in intercellular signaling to promote cell survival during hypoxic stress.
Journal ArticleDOI
Small RNA Sequencing across Diverse Biofluids Identifies Optimal Methods for exRNA Isolation

TL;DR: An interactive web-based application (miRDaR) was developed to help investigators select the optimal exRNA isolation method for their studies and returns a ranked list of ex RNA isolation methods prioritized by complexity, expression level, and reproducibility.
Journal ArticleDOI
Long non-coding RNAs as novel targets for therapy in hepatocellular carcinoma.
TL;DR: This review outlines the mechanisms of action of lncRNAs, their functional cellular roles, and their involvement in disease and provides an overview of the emerging opportunities and potential approaches to target lncRNA-dependent mechanisms for therapeutic purposes.
