Parasite stress and pathogen avoidance relate to distinct dimensions of political ideology across 30 nations

Joshua M. Tybur, +43 more
TL;DR: It is found that national parasite stress and individual disgust sensitivity relate more strongly to adherence to traditional norms than they relate to support for barriers between social groups, which suggests that the relationship between pathogens and politics reflects intragroup motivations more than intergroup motivations.
Journal ArticleDOI

A combined approach in characterization of an effective w/o hand cream: the influence of emollient on textural, sensorial and in vivo skin performance.

TL;DR: A modified sensory study could be useful for fast in‐line screening along with instrumental characterization of a novel cosmetic emulsion product and could be particularly helpful in the process of distinguishing a single formulation from several differing in one component.
Journal ArticleDOI

An alkyl polyglucoside-mixed emulsifier as stabilizer of emulsion systems: the influence of colloidal structure on emulsions skin hydration potential.

TL;DR: Different emulsion samples exhibited different water distribution modes in the structure, reflecting their rheological behavior and also their skin hydration capacity, as well as the emulsifier/water ratios.

Effect of Small Change in Oil Phase Composition on Rheological and Textural Properties of w/o Emulsion

TL;DR: In this article, a modified oil phase composition in one component (mineral oil, isocetyl palmitate, special Olive butter and dimethicone 200/350) was used to establish the influence of that alteration on emulsion rheological and textural properties.
