Journal ArticleDOI

Physiological complexity underlying heart rate dynamics and frailty status in community-dwelling older women.

TL;DR: To assess whether less physiological complexity underlying regulation of heart rate dynamics, as indicated by lower approximate entropy for heart rate (ApEnHR), is associated with frailty, ApEnHR was assessed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Gait alterations associated with walking impairment in people with peripheral arterial disease with and without intermittent claudication.

TL;DR: Gait alterations associated with impaired walking endurance in patients with and without lower‐extremity peripheral arterial disease are described and whether the Caltrac accelerometer provides a valid measure of physical activity in PAD is determined.
