Journal ArticleDOI

Mild cognitive impairment in Parkinson disease: a multicenter pooled analysis.

TL;DR: Having MCI was associated with older age at assessment and at disease onset, male gender, depression, more severe motor symptoms, and advanced disease stage, and future studies of patients with PD with MCI need to determine risk factors for ongoing cognitive decline and assess interventions at a predementia stage.
Journal ArticleDOI

Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation for the treatment of depression. Systematic review and meta-analysis.

TL;DR: Current trials are of low quality and provide insufficient evidence to support the use of rTMS in the treatment of depression, according to a systematic review of randomised controlled trials that compared rT MS with sham in patients with depression.
Journal ArticleDOI

Penetrance of FMR1 premutation associated pathologies in fragile X syndrome families.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated 398 fragile X syndrome (FXS) families in an attempt to provide an estimation of the premutation associated phenotypes penetrance, and the results showed that signs of FXTAS are detected in 16.5% of female premutation carriers and in 45% of premutated males older than 50 years.
