TL;DR: The authors document the changes in the transcriptome of human lung adenocarcinoma using single-cell sequencing and link cancer cell signatures to immune cell dynamics to improve understanding of molecular and cellular dynamics in metastatic lung cancer.
Journal ArticleDOI
High-throughput illumina strand-specific RNA sequencing library preparation.
Silin Zhong,Je-Gun Joung,Yi Zheng,Yun-Ru Chen,Bao Liu,Ying Shao,Jenny Xiang,Zhangjun Fei,James J. Giovannoni +8 more
TL;DR: This research presents a new probabilistic approach to assess the phytochemical properties of E.coli A, which has the potential to transform from a raw material for food to a feed for animals in a sustainable manner.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: The collective view of the cellular landscape and intercellular interactions in colorectal cancer provide mechanistic information for the design of efficient immuno-oncology treatment strategies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Interdependence of threonine, methionine and isoleucine metabolism in plants: accumulation and transcriptional regulation under abiotic stress.
TL;DR: This review describes pathways influencing branched-chain amino acid metabolism and what is known about the biological significance of their accumulation under abiotic stress and a bioinformatics approach to understanding the transcriptional regulation of the genes involved in amino acids metabolism under abiotics stress is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Combined transcriptome, genetic diversity and metabolite profiling in tomato fruit reveals that the ethylene response factor SlERF6 plays an important role in ripening and carotenoid accumulation
Je Min Lee,Je-Gun Joung,Ryan P. McQuinn,Mi-Young Chung,Zhangjun Fei,Zhangjun Fei,Denise M. Tieman,Harry J. Klee,James J. Giovannoni,James J. Giovannoni +9 more
TL;DR: Reduced expression of SlERF6 by RNAi enhanced both carotenoid and ethylene levels during fruit ripening, demonstrating an important role for SlERf6 in ripening; and one candidate for impact on trans-lycopene and β-carotene accumulation was functionally charaterized, Sl ERF6, revealing that it indeed influences carotanoid biosynthesis and additional ripening phenotypes.
