Journal ArticleDOI
Cas-analyzer: an online tool for assessing genome editing results using NGS data
TL;DR: An online tool, Cas-Analyzer, a JavaScript-based implementation for NGS data analysis, which is completely used at a client-side web browser on-the-fly, there is no need to upload very large NGS datasets to a server, a time-consuming step in genome editing analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cas-Designer: a web-based tool for choice of CRISPR-Cas9 target sites
TL;DR: Cas-Designer rapidly provides the list of all possible guide RNA sequences in a given input DNA sequence and their potential off-target sites including bulge-type sites in a genome of choice and assigns an out-of-frame score to each target site to help users choose appropriate sites for gene knockout.
Journal ArticleDOI
Genome editing reveals a role for OCT4 in human embryogenesis
Norah M. E. Fogarty,Afshan McCarthy,Kirsten E. Snijders,Benjamin E. Powell,N Kubikova,Paul Blakeley,Rebecca A. Lea,Kay Elder,Sissy E. Wamaitha,Daesik Kim,Valdone Maciulyte,Jens Kleinjung,Jin-Soo Kim,Dagan Wells,Ludovic Vallier,Ludovic Vallier,Alessandro Bertero,James M. A. Turner,Kathy K. Niakan +18 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that CRISPR–Cas9-mediated genome editing is a powerful method for investigating gene function in the context of human development.
Journal ArticleDOI

Journal ArticleDOI
Highly efficient gene knockout in mice and zebrafish with RNA-guided endonucleases.
Young Hoon Sung,Jong Min Kim,Hyun Taek Kim,Jae-Hoon Lee,Jisun Jeon,Young Jin,Jung Hwa Choi,Young Ho Ban,Sang Jun Ha,Cheol-Hee Kim,Han Woong Lee,Jin-Soo Kim +11 more
TL;DR: It is proposed that RGEN-mediated mutagenesis in animals will greatly expedite the creation of genetically engineered model organisms, accelerating functional genomic research.
