miRDeep*: an integrated application tool for miRNA identification from RNA sequencing data
TL;DR: In this article, the precision of detecting novel miRNAs is improved by introducing new strategies to identify precursor miRNA, which is modeled off miRDeep and has a user-friendly graphic interface and accepts raw data in FastQ and Sequence Alignment Map (SAM) or the binary equivalent format.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: A new cell model based on patient-derived cells from the human olfactory mucosa, the organ of smell, which regenerates throughout life from neural stem cells is described, which has many advantages over embryonic stem cells and induced pluripotent stem cells as models for brain diseases.

TL;DR: This glaucoma PRS will facilitate the development of a personalized approach for earlier treatment of high-risk individuals, with less intensive monitoring and treatment being possible for lower-risk groups.
