Tribological Behavior of Cu Matrix Composites Containing Graphite and Tungsten Disulfide

TL;DR: In this paper, the performance and wear properties of WS2 composites were investigated under the load of 1 − 5 N and the amount of lubricant on the worn surfaces was found to be significantly higher than that in the composite.
Journal ArticleDOI

Understanding the mechanisms and limitations of immune control of HIV

TL;DR: These studies suggest that CD8+ T cells do ‘too little too late’ to prevent the establishment of viral infection and latency and important questions remain as to whether differences in pathogenesis in HIV will lead to different ‘rules of engagement’ for immune control of virus.
Journal ArticleDOI

In situ-prepared homogeneous supramolecular organic framework drug delivery systems (sof-DDSs): Overcoming cancer multidrug resistance and controlled release

TL;DR: Water-soluble three-dimensional porous supramolecular organic frameworks (SOFs) have been demonstrated as a new generation of homogeneous polycationic platforms for anti-cancer drug delivery that omits the loading process required by most of reported nanoparticle-based delivery systems and thus holds promise for future development of low-cost drug delivery systems.
Journal ArticleDOI

The tribo-corrosion behavior of Cu-9wt% Ni-6wt% Sn alloy

TL;DR: In this paper, the tribo-corrosion behavior of a spinodally hardened Cu-9-wt% Ni-6-6 -wt% Sn alloy against a Si3N4 ball under dry-sliding, deionized water and 3.5-wt% NaCl solution was investigated on a ball-on-disk tester.
Journal ArticleDOI

Flexible Ureteroscopy and Laser Lithotripsy for Bilateral Multiple Intrarenal Stones: Is This a Valuable Choice?

TL;DR: The study results firmly suggest that FURS with holmium laser lithotripsy represents a favorable alternative to external shock wave lithotRIpsy or percutaneous nephrolithotomy for select patients with bilateral multiple intrarenal stones, which have a satisfactory efficacy and low morbidity.
