Analysis of the HLA population data (AHPD) submitted to the 15th International Histocompatibility/Immunogenetics Workshop by using the Gene[rate] computer tools accommodating ambiguous data (AHPD project report).
Jose Manuel Nunes,Maria Eugenia Riccio,Stéphane Buhler,Da Di,Mathias Currat,Fabien Ries,A. J. Almada,Soraya Benhamamouch,O. Benitez,Angelica Canossi,Karima Fadhlaoui-Zid,Gottfried Fischer,Barbara Nelly Kervaire,Pascale Loiseau,D. C. M. de Oliveira,C. Papasteriades,D. Piancatelli,M. Rahal,Lucie Richard,Matilde Romero,J. Rousseau,Mirko Spiroski,G. Sulcebe,Derek Middleton,Jean-Marie Tiercy,Alicia Sanchez-Mazas +25 more
TL;DR: The analysis of human leukocyte antigen (HLA) population data (AHPD) project as mentioned in this paper was the first attempt to estimate HLA frequencies by taking into account ambiguous genotypic data.
Journal ArticleDOI
Management of alloimmune thrombocytopenia.
Humphrey H.H. Kanhai,L Porcelijn,C. P. Engelfriet,Henk W. Reesink,Simon Panzer,Barbara Ulm,Mindy Goldman,I Bonacossa,Lucie Richard,M David,Ellen Taaning,M Hedegaard,Cécile Kaplan,Volker Kiefel,Oliver Meyer,Abdulgabar Salama,F. Morelati,N. Zupanska,Eduardo Muñiz-Diaz,Núria Nogués,J Parra,Stanislaw J. Urbaniak,A Cameron +33 more
TL;DR: The studies presented in Tables 1A and 1B surprisingly report virtually identical percentages of cases of intracranial hemorrhage: 2.7% versus 2.9%, respectively, however, overall mean birth platelet counts differed markedly between the two groups.
Journal ArticleDOI
16(th) IHIW: analysis of HLA population data, with updated results for 1996 to 2012 workshop data (AHPD project report).
Maria Eugenia Riccio,Stéphane Buhler,Jose Manuel Nunes,Christelle Vangenot,Mélanie Cuenod,Mathias Currat,Da Di,Marco Andreani,M. Boldyreva,Geoffrey K. Chambers,M. S. Chernova,Jacques Chiaroni,C. Darke,J. Di Cristofaro,Valérie Dubois,P. P. J. Dunn,Hisham Atan Edinur,N. Elamin,J.-F. Eliaou,Zorana Grubic,Taina Jaatinen,Uma Kanga,Barbara Nelly Kervaire,L. Kolesar,W. Kunachiwa,M. L. Suslova,Manuela Testi,Jean-Marie Tiercy,A. Varnavidou,B. Vidan-Jeras,Annika Wennerström,Alicia Sanchez-Mazas +42 more
TL;DR: The comparison of the 16IHIW AHPD data with data collected during previous workshops shows that geography is an excellent predictor of HLA genetic differentiations for HLA‐A, ‐B and ‐DRB1 loci but not for Hla‐DQ, whose patterns are probably more influenced by natural selection.
Journal ArticleDOI
Report on the Eleventh International Society of Blood Transfusion Platelet Genotyping and Serology Workshop.
TL;DR: The aims of the Eleventh International Workshop were to equip laboratories to perform antigen system genotyping and antibody detection, and to evaluate the laboratory and clinical approach to cases of neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia (NAIT).
Journal ArticleDOI
Inaccuracies in epitope repertoire estimations when using Multi-Locus Allele-Level hla genotype imputation tools.
Yasmin D'Souza,Abdelhakim Ferradji,Chee Loong Saw,Karim Oualkacha,Lucie Richard,G. Popradi,G. Popradi,R. Sapir-Pichhadze +7 more
TL;DR: The accuracy of epitope load and repertoire assignment when imputing allele‐level HLA genotypes is evaluated and multilocus allele‐ level genotype measurement is recommended to avoid inaccuracies in epitope compatibility estimation.
