Direct mass measurements around A = 146 at SHIPTRAP
C. Rauth,Dieter Ackermann,G. Audi,Michael Block,A. Chaudhuri,Sergey Eliseev,F. Herfurth,F. P. Heßberger,S. Hofmann,H.-J. Kluge,A. Martín,Gerrit Marx,Manas Mukherjee,J. B. Neumayr,Wolfgang R. Plaß,Saidur Rahaman,Daniel Rodriguez Rodriguez,Lutz Schweikhard,P. G. Thirolf,G. Vorobjev,C. Weber +20 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the masses of 18 neutron-deficient isotopes in the terbium-to-thulium region were determined with relative uncertainties of about 7.10-8, nine of them for the first time.
Journal ArticleDOI
Deuterium atomic mass from Fourier-transform-ion-cyclotron-resonance measurement of the mass difference between 1H2O+ and 2HO+
TL;DR: The mass difference, corresponding to a mass-ratio precision of 6×10 -10 , has been determined by Fourier-transform ion-cyclotron-resonance (FT ICR) mass spectrometry and the FT ICR mass-spectrometry-derived value improves significantly the precision of prior measured or recommended values.
Journal ArticleDOI
Laser desorption/ionization cluster studies for calibration in mass spectrometry
TL;DR: In this article, the authors performed laser desorption/ionization cluster studies with a MALDI-TOF mass spectrometer on gold and fullerene targets to produce atomic clusters.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dipolar and quadrupolar detection using an FT-ICR MS setup at the MPIK Heidelberg
M. Heck,Klaus Blaum,R. Burcu Cakirli,Daniel Rodríguez,Lutz Schweikhard,S. Stahl,Marta Ubieto-Diaz +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, quadrupolar detection was investigated at a Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (FT-ICR MS) setup built for the KATRIN experiment at the Max-Planck-Institute for Nuclear Physics (MPIK) in Heidelberg.
Journal ArticleDOI
Photodecay Pathways of Stored, Size-Selected Lead Clusters Pbn+, n = 6–41 and Pbn–, n = 9–56
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the fragmentation of cationic and anionic lead clusters by photoabsorption at 532 nm and found that at the intermediate sizes the main fragmentation pathways seem to include the breaking off of a neutral heptamer, Pb7.
