Evaluation of high-precision atomic masses of A ∼ 50-80 and rare-earth nuclides measured with ISOLTRAP
W. J. Huang,W. J. Huang,Dinko Atanasov,G. Audi,Klaus Blaum,R. B. Cakirli,Alexander Herlert,Magda Kowalska,Susanne Kreim,Susanne Kreim,Yu. A. Litvinov,D. Lunney,Vladimir Manea,Maxime Mougeot,Maxime Mougeot,Marco Rosenbusch,Lutz Schweikhard,A. Welker,Frank Wienholtz,Robert Wolf,Robert Wolf,Kai Zuber +21 more
TL;DR: In this article, high-precision mass measurements of stable and beta-decaying nuclides 52-57Cr, 55Mn, 56,59Fe, 59Co, 75, 77-79Ga, and the lanthanide n-cliques 140Ce, 140Nd, 160Yb, 168Lu, 178Yb were performed with the Penning-trap mass spectrometer ISOLTRAP at ISOLDE/CERN.
A pulse-pattern generator using labview fpga
TL;DR: A pulse-pattern generator produces bit patterns at user specified times and can be used to control the timing of experimental procedures - each bit is used as a trigger line for external devices like a switch-able power supply.
Journal ArticleDOI
Extending the mass “backbone” to short-lived nuclides with ISOLTRAP
C. Guénaut,G. Audi,D. Beck,Klaus Blaum,Klaus Blaum,Georg Bollen,P. Delahaye,Frank Herfurth,Alban Kellerbauer,H. J. Kluge,D. Lunney,Stefan Schwarz,Lutz Schweikhard,C. Yazidjian +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, new measurements performed with the Penning trap mass spectrometer ISOLTRAP extend the backbone to short-lived species, and recently obtained mass results are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Au+ n-Induced Decomposition of N2O.
G. Dietrich,K. Luetzenkirchen,Becker,H.-U. Hasse,H.-J. Kluge,M. Lindinger,Lutz Schweikhard,J. Ziegler,S. Kuznetsov +8 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Unintended parametric ejection of ions from an ion cyclotron resonance trap by two- electrode axialization.
TL;DR: The effect of the single-phase two-electrode quadrupolar excitation is demonstrated for storage and axialization of cluster ions and parametric contributions can be easily identified.
