Patient outcome according to the 2017 international consensus on the definition of borderline resectable pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
J. Medrano,Jonathan Garnier,Jacques Ewald,U. Marchese,Marine Gilabert,S. Launay,Flora Poizat,Marc Giovannini,Jean-Robert Delpero,Olivier Turrini +9 more
TL;DR: The 2017 definition of borderline pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma was relevant for sub-classifying patients with BR-PDAC and the anatomical dimension (BR-A) was a favorable prognostic factor, whereas the biological dimension (AB and BR-B) poorly impacted survival.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: Despite the limitations of EUS alone in the morphologic diagnosis of PCLs, the results of the survey indicate that EUS-guided fine-needle aspiration is widely expected to become a more valuable method.
Journal ArticleDOI
Can endoscopic ultrasound-guided needle-based confocal laser endomicroscopy replace fine-needle aspiration for pancreatic and mediastinal diseases?
Jintao Guo,Manoop S. Bhutani,Marc Giovannini,Zhao-Shen Li,Zhendong Jin,Aiming Yang,Guoqiang Xu,Guiqi Wang,Siyu Sun +8 more
TL;DR: Preliminary results are very encouraging and suggest nCLE may be used in future as a useful adjunct in cases of inconclusive EUS-guided fine-needle aspiration.
