Systemic hypertension as a treatable risk factor for cerebrovascular disease

TL;DR: Hystolic hypertension emerged as a fundamental risk factor, significantly more frequent in the subgroup of older patients than in the younger subgroup, and significantly lower in hypertensive than in normotensive subjects.
