Shi Wu Wen,Qun Miao,Monica Taljaard,Jane Lougheed,Jane Lougheed,Laura Gaudet,Laura Gaudet,Michael J. Davies,Andrea Lanes,A. Leader,Daniel J. Corsi,Ann E. Sprague,Mark Walker +12 more
TL;DR: This cohort study assesses the extent of association of assisted reproductive technology with congenital heart defects independent of its known association with twin pregnancies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Assessing the Flexibility of the Prochlorosin 2.8 Scaffold for Bioengineering Applications
Julian D. Hegemann,Silvia C. Bobeica,Mark Walker,Ian R. Bothwell,Wilfred A. van der Donk,Wilfred A. van der Donk +5 more
TL;DR: The prochlorosins are especially promising as the corresponding class II lanthipeptide synthetase ProcM matures numerous precursor peptides with diverse core peptide sequences, resulting in a low nanomolar affinity binder of the αvβ3 integrin that was more stable toward proteolysis and displayed higher affinity than the linear counterpart.
Journal ArticleDOI
Gestational age-specific severe maternal morbidity associated with labor induction.
Shiliang Liu,Shiliang Liu,K.S. Joseph,Jennifer A. Hutcheon,Sharon Bartholomew,Juan Andrés León,Mark Walker,Michael S. Kramer,Michael S. Kramer,Robert M. Liston +9 more
TL;DR: Among women without pregnancy complications, induction at earlier term is associated with higher rates of specific severe maternal morbidity, although absolute risks are low.
Journal ArticleDOI
Suicide in the elderly. Recognizing the signs.
Mary Johnston,Mark Walker +1 more
