Substrate utilisation of cultured skeletal muscle cells in patients with CFS.
Cara Tomas,Joanna L. Elson,Joanna L. Elson,Julia L. Newton,Julia L. Newton,Mark Walker,Mark Walker +6 more
TL;DR: Results show that CFS skeletal muscle cells are unable to utilise glucose to the same extent as healthy control cells, indicating that the bioenergetic dysfunction lies upstream of the TCA cycle.
Journal ArticleDOI
CARTR Plus: the creation of an ART registry in Canada.
Andrea Lanes,Deshayne B. Fell,Mari Teitelbaum,Ann E. Sprague,Moya Johnson,H Wang,M Elliott,Yanfang Guo,Yanfang Guo,L Meng,A Yuzpe,F Bissonnette,Marie-Claude Léveillé,Mark Walker +13 more
TL;DR: The low multiple pregnancy rate and high singleton birth rate are associated with the increase in single embryo transfers and the CARTR Plus registry is a robust resource for ART data in Canada.
Journal ArticleDOI
Whole blood co-expression modules associate with metabolic traits and type 2 diabetes: an IMI-DIRECT study.

TL;DR: A holistic view of the regulation and molecular context of whole blood transcriptomic modules in the context of metabolic disease is provided and point to novel biological candidates for future studies related to T2D.
Terbutaline Pump for the Prevention of Preterm Birth
Laura Gaudet,Kavita Singh,Laura Weeks,Becky Skidmore,Sophia Tsouros,Alexander Tsertsvadze,Raymond Daniel,Steve Doucette,Mark Walker,Mohammed Tahir Ansari +9 more
TL;DR: This paper presents a meta-analyses of the literature reviews that have been conducted over a period of several years and show clear trends in the development of novel drugs and medical devices for use in health services research.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of implementation of the MORE OB program on adverse maternal and neonatal birth outcomes in Ontario, Canada: a retrospective cohort study
Deborah Weiss,Deshayne B. Fell,Deshayne B. Fell,Ann E. Sprague,Mark Walker,Sandra Dunn,Jessica Reszel,Wendy E. Peterson,Doug Coyle,Monica Taljaard +9 more
TL;DR: It was found that there was no reduction in the incidence of maternal and neonatal adverse outcomes associated with the MOREOB program, and small yet statistically significant increases in some adverse events were observed.
