Journal ArticleDOI

DNA damage induces Chk1‐dependent centrosome amplification

TL;DR: Caffeine abrogated centrosome amplification in both ATM (ataxia telangiectasia, mutated)‐ and ATR (ATM and Rad3‐related)‐defective cells, indicating a complementary role for these DNA‐damage‐responsive kinases in promoting centrosomes amplification.
Journal ArticleDOI

Exome sequencing-driven discovery of coding polymorphisms associated with common metabolic phenotypes

Anders Albrechtsen, +118 more
- 01 Feb 2013 -
TL;DR: Exome sequencing is applied as a basis for finding genetic determinants of metabolic traits and show the existence of low-frequency and common coding polymorphisms with impact on common metabolic traits.
Journal ArticleDOI

A systematic review of the association between factor V Leiden or prothrombin gene variant and intrauterine growth restriction.

TL;DR: This meta-analysis of case-control studies suggests that the factor V Leiden and prothrombin gene variant both confer an increased risk of giving birth to an intrauterine growth restricted infant, although this may be driven by small, poor-quality studies that demonstrated extreme associations.
Journal ArticleDOI

H1N1 Influenza Vaccination During Pregnancy and Fetal and Neonatal Outcomes

TL;DR: It is suggested that second- or third-trimester H1N1 vaccination was associated with improved fetal and neonatal outcomes during the recent pandemic.
