SAMHD1 restricts the replication of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 by depleting the intracellular pool of deoxynucleoside triphosphates.
Hichem Lahouassa,Waaqo Daddacha,Henning Hofmann,Diana Ayinde,Diana Ayinde,Diana Ayinde,Eric C. Logue,Loïc Dragin,Loïc Dragin,Loïc Dragin,Nicolin Bloch,Claire Maudet,Claire Maudet,Claire Maudet,Matthieu Bertrand,Matthieu Bertrand,Matthieu Bertrand,Thomas Gramberg,Gianfranco Pancino,Stéphane Priet,Bruno Canard,Nadine Laguette,Monsef Benkirane,Catherine Transy,Catherine Transy,Catherine Transy,Nathaniel R. Landau,Baek Kim,Baek Kim,Florence Margottin-Goguet,Florence Margottin-Goguet,Florence Margottin-Goguet +31 more
TL;DR: It is found that SAMHD1 restricted infection by hydrolyzing intracellular deoxynucleoside triphosphates (dNTPs), lowering their concentrations to below those required for the synthesis of the viral DNA by reverse transcriptase (RT).
Journal ArticleDOI
SQSTM1/p62 regulates the expression of junctional proteins through epithelial-mesenchymal transition factors
Matthieu Bertrand,Valérie Petit,Ashish Jain,Raymonde Amsellem,Terje Johansen,Lionel Larue,Patrice Codogno,Isabelle Beau +7 more
TL;DR: This study highlights a novel function of p62 in a major epithelial phenotypic alteration during growth factor-induced EMT in immortalized and tumor-derived epithelial cell lines.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
A compact slow-wave substrate integrated waveguide cavity filter
TL;DR: In this paper, a miniaturized substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) filter with blind metalized via-holes was proposed, which confine the electric field in the upper part, while the magnetic field remains present in the whole substrate.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular Insight into How HIV-1 Vpr Protein Impairs Cell Growth through Two Genetically Distinct Pathways
Claire Maudet,Claire Maudet,Claire Maudet,Matthieu Bertrand,Matthieu Bertrand,Matthieu Bertrand,Erwann Le Rouzic,Erwann Le Rouzic,Erwann Le Rouzic,Hichem Lahouassa,Hichem Lahouassa,Hichem Lahouassa,Diana Ayinde,Diana Ayinde,Diana Ayinde,Sébastien Nisole,Sébastien Nisole,Sébastien Nisole,Caroline Goujon,Andrea Cimarelli,Andrea Cimarelli,Andrea Cimarelli,Florence Margottin-Goguet,Florence Margottin-Goguet,Florence Margottin-Goguet,Catherine Transy,Catherine Transy,Catherine Transy +27 more
TL;DR: Data support a model in which Vpr recruits DCAF1 to induce the degradation of two host proteins independently required for proper cell growth, and suggest that a SRIG motif conserved in the C-terminal tail of Vpr proteins from HIV-1/SIVcpz and HIV-2/Siva lineages is critical for G2 arrest.
