Journal ArticleDOI

Electroluminescence and Dark Lock-In Thermography for the Quality Assessment of Metal-Wrap-Through Solar Devices

TL;DR: In this paper, isolated emitter-to-foil contacts are clearly visible in the images obtained by electroluminescence, dark lock-in thermography, and series resistance images.
Journal ArticleDOI

Achieving 23.83% conversion efficiency in silicon heterojunction solar cell with ultra‐thin MoO x hole collector layer via tailoring ( i )a‐Si:H/MoO x interface

TL;DR: In this paper , a dipole at the interface between the molybdenum oxide and the hydrogenated intrinsic amorphous silicon passivation layer is demonstrated, and the authors apply this knowledge to experimentally tailor the oxygen content in MoOx by plasma treatments (PTs).
Proceedings ArticleDOI

A modeling methodology to evaluate the impact of temperature on Solar Home Systems for rural electrification

TL;DR: In this paper, a modeling methodology is described for quantifying the temperature impact on the performance and lifetime of solar home systems (SHS) components like photo-voltaic (PV) module and battery.
Journal ArticleDOI

Sub-gap defect density characterization of molybdenum oxide: An annealing study for solar cell applications

TL;DR: In this article, the defect density of molybdenum oxide was extracted through non-destructive optical measures, including the contribution given by small polaron optical transitions, and the presence of defects related to oxygen-vacancy and of polaron is supported by the results of opto-electrical characterizations along with the evaluation of previous observations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optimized Metal-Free Back Reflectors for High-Efficiency Open Rear c-Si Solar Cells

TL;DR: In this paper, a distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) and TiO2-based white paint (WP) were applied to the textured open-rear of bifacial n-Pasha cells.
