Proceedings ArticleDOI
Designing Nanotextures Using Perlin Noise, the Scalar Scattering Theory and the Finite Elements Method
TL;DR: In this article, the scalar scattering theory is applied to find optimal scattering morphologies for different configurations and verify the results with finite elements calculations, and the results are shown to increase the photocurrent density in thin-film solar cells.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
A rapid method of estimating the solar irradiance spectra with potential lighting applications
TL;DR: Results show that the proposed rapid method can generate different spectral power distributions based on distinct input conditions, which is applicable to many fields.
