Journal ArticleDOI

CryoSat-2 swath interferometric altimetry for mapping ice elevation and elevation change

TL;DR: In this article, the interferometric mode of CryoSat-2 was used to map broad (5 km wide) swaths of surface elevation with fine (500 m) spatial resolution from each satellite pass, providing a step-change in the capability of satellite altimetry for glaciology.
Journal ArticleDOI

REAPER: Reprocessing 12 Years of ERS-1 and ERS-2 Altimeters and Microwave Radiometer Data

TL;DR: The details of how the reprocessing was conducted are presented and selected results from the validation and quality-assurance processes are shown to aid the reader in understanding the benefits of the new data set for their particular use-case.
Journal ArticleDOI

Sentinel-3 Delay-Doppler altimetry over Antarctica

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present the first analysis of the Sentinel-3A radar altimeter over the Antarctic ice sheet and assess the accuracy and precision of retrievals of ice sheet elevation across a range of topographic regimes.
