Small RNA combination therapy for lung cancer

TL;DR: It is reported that a lipid/polymer nanoparticle can deliver small RNAs to treat autochthonous tumors in the so-called “KP” mouse model of lung cancer, and the combination of miR-34a and siRNA targeting Kras improved therapeutic responses over those observed with either small RNA alone or cisplatin-based chemotherapy, leading to tumor regression.
