Journal Article
In vivo visualization of transplanted islets in rats by SPECT with In-111-Exendin-3
Karolina M. Andralojc,Maarten Brom,Lieke Joosten,Wim J.G. Oyen,Otto C. Boerman,Martin Gotthardt +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a non-invasive imaging technique that specifically visualizes BCM in vivo was developed based on the targeting of the glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor (GLP-1R) which is expressed at high levels on pancreatic beta cells.
Journal Article
Targeting of Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma with the Chimeric Monoclonal Antibody G250 Labeled with 131I or 111In
Adrienne H. Brouwers,W.C.A.M. Buijs,Egbert Oosterwijk,Otto C. Boerman,C. Mala,Pieter H.M. De Mulder,Frans H.M. Corstens,Peter F.A. Mulders,Wim J.G. Oyen +8 more
TL;DR: 111In-ITC-DTPA- cG250 outperformed 131I-cG250 for visualization of metastatic RCC lesions, not just because of the superior gamma camera characteristics of 111In, but more importantly, also because higher tumor:blood ratios were obtained.
Journal ArticleDOI
Specific antibody uptake in tuberculosis
Wim J.G. Oyen,Roland A. M. J. Claessens,Otto C. Boerman,Jos W. M. van der Meer,Frans H.M. Corstens +4 more
TL;DR: The data presented by Lee et al. fortunately confirm previous studies with regard to the relevance of non-specific uptake of radiolabelled proteins in infectious foci and the pitfalls encountered when interpreting the results of animal data and the authors' conclusions are not in concordance with their results.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tracers to monitor the response to chemotherapy: in vitro screening of four radiopharmaceuticals.
Lioe-Fee de Geus-Oei,Julliëtte van Eerd-Vismale,Carla F. M. Molthoff,Frans H.M. Corstens,Wim J.G. Oyen,Otto C. Boerman +5 more
TL;DR: The enhanced doxorubicin chemosensitivity of MDR+ cells in the presence of verapamil, a modulator of P-glycoprotein, was reflected by the reduced uptake of 18F-deoxyglucose, 125I- deoxyuridineribose, and 125I -methyltyrosine.
Journal ArticleDOI
336 Sorafenib decreases Indium-111-girentuximab tumor uptake in clear cell renal cell carcinoma patients
Constantijn H.J. Muselaers,Otto C. Boerman,Alexander B. Stillebroer,Ingrid M.E. Desar,M.J. Boers-Sonderen,Herpen C.M.L. Van,Johan F. Langenhuijsen,Egbert Oosterwijk,William P.J. Leenders,Wim J.G. Oyen,P.F.A. Mulders +10 more
