A Bivalent Inhibitor of Prostate Specific Membrane Antigen Radiolabeled with Copper‐64 with High Tumor Uptake and Retention
Nicholas Zia,Carleen Cullinane,Carleen Cullinane,Jessica Van Zuylekom,Kelly Waldeck,Lachlan E. McInnes,Gojko Buncic,Mohammad B. Haskali,Peter Roselt,Rodney J. Hicks,Rodney J. Hicks,Paul S. Donnelly +11 more
TL;DR: The high tumour uptake, low background and prolonged tumour retention, even at 24 hours post injection, suggest the bivalent agent is a promising diagnostic for prostate cancer and could be used for prospective dosimetry for therapy with a copper-67 variant.
Journal ArticleDOI
Toward Hypoxia-Selective Rhenium and Technetium Tricarbonyl Complexes
Andrea J. North,David J. Hayne,Christine Schieber,Katherine A. Price,Anthony R. White,Peter J. Crouch,Angela Rigopoulos,Graeme O'Keefe,Henri Tochon-Danguy,Andrew M. Scott,Jonathan M. White,Uwe Ackermann,Paul S. Donnelly +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, rhenium tricarbonyl complexes with deprotonated p-nitrophenyl pyridylhydrazone ligands were used to track their uptake in HeLa cells using confocal fluorescent microscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Decarboxylative-coupling of allyl acetate catalyzed by group 10 organometallics, [(phen)M(CH3)]+.
Matthew J. Woolley,Alireza Ariafard,Alireza Ariafard,George N. Khairallah,Kim H. Kwan,Paul S. Donnelly,Jonathan M. White,Allan J. Canty,Brian F. Yates,Richard A. J. O'Hair +9 more
TL;DR: Gas-phase carbon-carbon bond forming reactions, catalyzed by group 10 metal acetate cations, were examined using an ion trap mass spectrometer and density functional theory (DFT) calculations and suggest that carbon- carbon bond formation occurs via alkene insertion as the initial step for all three metals, without involving higher oxidation states for the metal centers.
Journal ArticleDOI
Activation of epidermal growth factor receptor by metal-ligand complexes decreases levels of extracellular amyloid beta peptide
Katherine A. Price,Gulay Filiz,Gulay Filiz,Aphrodite Caragounis,Aphrodite Caragounis,Tai Du,Tai Du,Katrina M. Laughton,Katrina M. Laughton,Colin L. Masters,Colin L. Masters,Robyn A. Sharples,Andrew F. Hill,Qiao-Xin Li,Qiao-Xin Li,Paul S. Donnelly,Kevin J. Barnham,Kevin J. Barnham,Peter J. Crouch,Peter J. Crouch,Anthony R. White,Anthony R. White +21 more
TL;DR: It is shown that CQ-Cu complexes induced potent epidermal growth factor receptor phosphorylation resulting in downstream activation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase resulting in potentially neuroprotective effects.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rhenium(I) complexes of N-heterocyclic carbene ligands that bind to amyloid plaques of Alzheimer's disease
TL;DR: A series of [Re(i)L(CO)3]+ complexes (where L is a bifunctional bis(NHC)-amine ligand) that are analogues of potential Tc-99m diagnostic imaging agents for Alzheimer's disease have been synthesised.
