TL;DR: Zhang et al. as mentioned in this paper applied the automated anomaly-finder algorithm to 2018-2019 light curves from the six KMTNet prime fields, with cadences $\Gamma \geq 2\,{\rm hr}^{-1}".

Identifying microlensing events using neural networks
TL;DR: Two simple neural-network-based classifiers for detecting single and binary microlensing events are presented and demonstrate their robustness using OGLE-III and OGle-IV data sets and show they perform well on microlensed events detected in data from the Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF).
Journal ArticleDOI
First Space-based Microlens Parallax Measurement of an Isolated Star: Spitzer Observations of OGLE-2014-BLG-0939
Jennifer C. Yee,Andrzej Udalski,S. Calchi Novati,S. Calchi Novati,Andrew Gould,Sean Carey,Radosław Poleski,Radosław Poleski,B. S. Gaudi,Richard W. Pogge,Jan Skowron,S. Kozłowski,Przemek Mróz,Paweł Pietrukowicz,Grzegorz Pietrzyński,Grzegorz Pietrzyński,Michał K. Szymański,Igor Soszyński,Krzysztof Ulaczyk,Łukasz Wyrzykowski,Łukasz Wyrzykowski +20 more
TL;DR: In this article, the first space-based microlens parallax measurement of an isolated star is presented, based on the striking differences in the lightcurve as seen from Earth and from Spitzer (~ 1 AU to the West).
Journal ArticleDOI
Discovery of two quasars at $z=5$ from the OGLE Survey
Szymon Kozłowski,Eduardo Bañados,Andrzej Udalski,Nidia Morrell,Alexander P. Ji,Łukasz Wyrzykowski,Arne Rau,Przemek Mróz,Jochen Greiner,M. Gromadzki,Michał K. Szymański,Igor Soszyński,Radosław Poleski,P. Pietrukowicz,Jan Skowron,D. M. Skowron,K. Ulaczyk,K. A. Rybicki,Patryk Iwanek +18 more
TL;DR: In this article, the optical OGLE data with the mid-IR Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) 3.4/4.6/12 data were combined to perform a search for high-z$ quasar candidates.
Journal ArticleDOI
HO Puppis: Not a Be Star, but a Newly Confirmed IW And-type Star
Chien De Lee,Jia Yu Ou,Po-Chieh Yu,Po-Chieh Yu,Chow-Choong Ngeow,Po Chieh Huang,Wing-Huen Ip,Franz-Josef Hambsch,Hyun Il Sung,Jan van Roestel,Richard Dekany,Andrew Drake,Matthew J. Graham,Dmitry A. Duev,Stephen Kaye,Thomas Kupfer,Russ R. Laher,Frank J. Masci,Przemek Mróz,James D. Neill,Reed Riddle,Ben Rusholme,Richard Walters +22 more
TL;DR: In this article, the light curve of HO Puppis (HO Pup) displays various variability timescales, including brightening cycles ranging from 23 to 61 days, variations with periods between 3.9 days and 50 minutes during the quasi-standstill phase, and a semi-regular ~14-day period for the dip events.
