Kilonova Luminosity Function Constraints based on Zwicky Transient Facility Searches for 13 Neutron Star Mergers

Mansi M. Kasliwal, +114 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a systematic search for optical counterparts to 13 GW triggers involving at least one neutron star during LIGO/Virgo's third observing run (O3).
Journal ArticleDOI

Hydrogen-rich supernovae beyond the neutrino-driven core-collapse paradigm

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented the Quantum Universe I-Core programme by the Israeli Committee for planning and funding and the European Union through an Ernest Rutherford Fellowship and a European Research Council (ERC) grant.
Journal ArticleDOI

OGLE Atlas of Classical Novae I. Galactic Bulge Objects

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors directly measured a Galactic bulge nova rate of 13.6$ per year, which is much more accurate than any previous measurement of this kind thanks to many years' monitoring of the bulge by the Optical Gravitational Lensing Experiment (OGLE).
