The burden of heat-related mortality attributable to recent human-induced climate change

Ana M. Vicedo-Cabrera, +81 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors use empirical data from 732 locations in 43 countries to estimate the mortality burdens associated with the additional heat exposure that has resulted from recent human-induced warming, during the period 1991-2018.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Satellite-Based Spatio-Temporal Machine Learning Model to Reconstruct Daily PM2.5 Concentrations across Great Britain.

TL;DR: It is indicated that direct satellite observations must be integrated with other satellite-based products and geospatial variables to derive reliable estimates of air pollution exposure and the high spatio-temporal resolution and the relatively high precision allow these estimates to be used in epidemiological analyses to assess health risks.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparison of weather station and climate reanalysis data for modelling temperature-related mortality

TL;DR: In this paper , a comprehensive analysis over multiple regions to assess the suitability of the most recent generation of reanalysis datasets for health impact assessments and evaluate their comparative performance against traditional station-based data.
