Journal ArticleDOI

Comparison of Machine Learning Approaches with a General Linear Model To Predict Personal Exposure to Benzene.

TL;DR: Machine learning techniques that can predict personal exposure to benzene have been developed and compared with a standard model using a linear regression approach and overall, the MLTs perform at least as well as the GLM and avoid the need to input microenvironment concentrations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of gaseous benzene effects upon A549 lung epithelial cells using a novel exposure system.

TL;DR: Results showed a concentration-dependent increase of DNA breaks and an increase of ROS production, confirming the feasibility of the experimental procedure and validating the model for further in vitro studies of exposure to other VOCs.
Book ChapterDOI
