TL;DR: Outdoor air pollutants are associated with respiratory morbidity and mortality, but little longitudinal work has been undertaken in this area in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and exposure to ozone and PM10 predicts decline of lung function in AATD.

TL;DR: In this paper, ground-level and vertical measurements of ozone (O3), other gaseous pollutants (NO, NO2, CO, SO2) and aerosols were carried out in the plains (Vic Plain) and valleys of the northern region of the Barcelona metropolitan area (BMA) in July 2015, an area typically recording the highest O3 episodes in Spain.

TL;DR: In this article, the chemical associations of metals in the suspended sediment fraction of highway drainage waters have been investigated, and significant positive correlations between concentrations of pairs of metals (Pb and Cu, Fe and Cu and Fe, and Fe and Mn) were found.
