Ultrafast growth of single-crystal graphene assisted by a continuous oxygen supply

TL;DR: It is shown that single-crystal graphene can be grown on copper foils with a growth rate of 60 μm-1, and single- Crystal graphene domains with a lateral size of 0.3 mm are able to be grown with just 5 s.
Journal ArticleDOI

Greatly Enhanced Anticorrosion of Cu by Commensurate Graphene Coating.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that as-grown graphene can protect Cu(111) surface from oxidation in humid air lasting for more than 2.5 years, in sharp contrast with the accelerated oxidation of graphene-coated Cu(100) surface.
Journal ArticleDOI

Monitoring Local Strain Vector in Atomic-Layered MoSe2 by Second-Harmonic Generation

TL;DR: A novel approach to monitor the local strain vector in 2D molybdenum diselenide (MoSe2) by polarization-dependent optical second-harmonic generation (SHG) is reported, establishing that SHG is an effective approach for in situ, sensitive, and noninvasive measurement of local strainvector in noncentrosymmetric 2D materials.
Journal ArticleDOI

Robust Stacking-Independent Ultrafast Charge Transfer in MoS2/WS2 Bilayers.

TL;DR: The results elucidate the origin of transfer rate robustness against interlayer stacking configurations in optical devices based on 2D heterostructures, facilitating their applications in ultrafast and high-efficient optoelectronic and photovoltaic devices in the near future.
