Gate-tunable room-temperature ferromagnetism in two-dimensional Fe 3 GeTe 2 .

TL;DR: It is found that the itinerant ferromagnetism persists in Fe3GeTe2 down to the monolayer with an out-of-plane magnetocrystalline anisotropy, which opens up opportunities for potential voltage-controlled magnetoelectronics based on atomically thin van der Waals crystals.

Gate-tunable Room-temperature Ferromagnetism in Two-dimensional Fe 3 GeTe 2

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the itinerant ferromagnetic order persists in Fe3GeTe2 down to the monolayer with an out-of-plane magnetocrystalline anisotropy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Non-blinking and photostable upconverted luminescence from single lanthanide-doped nanocrystals

TL;DR: In this article, the authors show that individual lanthanide-doped upconverting nanoparticles (UCNPs) with multiple Yb3+ and Er3+ dopants exhibit bright anti-Stokes visible upconverted luminescence with exceptional photostability when excited by a 980nm continuous wave laser.
Journal ArticleDOI

Surface Plasmon‐Enhanced Photodetection in Few Layer MoS2 Phototransistors with Au Nanostructure Arrays

TL;DR: A large enhancement of photocurrent response is obtained by coupling few-layer MoS2 with Au plasmonic nanostructure arrays, and it is confirmed that light can be trapped and enhanced near the Au nanoplates.
