TL;DR: The CMAJ editorial published with the study reported that 23.5% of Canadians aged 50 years or older who were at average risk for colorectal cancer had ever received screening for colorescopy; this value fell to 17.6% when only up-to-date screening was considered.

TL;DR: Overall, transfusion of fresh red blood cells was not associated with a better neurologic outcome at six months in critically ill patients with traumatic brain injury, and it cannot exclude a differential effect according to the patient baseline prognosis.
