Journal ArticleDOI

A Small Proton Charge Radius From an Electron-Proton Scattering Experiment

TL;DR: The smaller r p the authors have now measured supports the value found by two previous muonic hydrogen experiments, and agrees with the revised value for the Rydberg constant, one of the most accurately evaluated fundamental constants in physics.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evidence for Strange-Quark Contributions to the Nucleon's Form Factors at Q^2 = 0.108 (GeV/c)^2

TL;DR: A measurement of the parity violating asymmetry in the elastic scattering of polarized electrons off unpolarized protons with the A4 apparatus at MAMI in Mainz at a four momentum transfer value of Q(2)=0.108 (GeV/c)(2) and the value for G(s)(E)+0.106G(s) to be positive is found at an improved significance level of two sigma.
Journal ArticleDOI

Precision Measurements of the Nucleon Strange Form Factors at Q 2 ∼ 0.1 GeV 2

A. Acha, +102 more
TL;DR: In this article, the parity-violating asymmetry A_PV in elastic scattering of 3 GeV electrons off hydrogen and 4He targets with ~6.0 degrees was measured.
