Three-dimensional fast-degrading polymer films for delivery of calcium phosphate/DNA co-precipitates in solid-phase transfection

TL;DR: During the cellular transfections, the fast-degrading films rapidly released Ca-P/DNA co-precipitates to mediate gene transfection, and the degradation products did not show any negative effects on the gene expression.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reversible core-crosslinked nanocarriers with pH-modulated targeting and redox-controlled drug release for overcoming drug resistance

TL;DR: A pH and redox dual-sensitive core-crosslinked targeting nanocarrier was prepared and used for co-delivery of doxorubicin (DOX) and tariquidar (TQR), exhibiting great potential in overcoming drug resistance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Syntheses and properties of novel copolymers of polycaprolactone and aliphatic polycarbonate based on ketal-protected dihydroxyacetone

TL;DR: In this paper, random copolymers of e-caprolactone (CL) and 2,2-ethylenedioxy propane-1,3-diol carbonate (EOPDC) were synthesized in bulk at 120°C using Sn(Oct)2 as a catalyst.
Journal ArticleDOI

Degradation and drug release properties of poly- α , β -[ N -(2-hydroxyethyl)- l -aspartamide]- g -poly(2,2-dimethyltrimethylene carbonate)

TL;DR: A series of biodegradable amphiphilic graft copolymers with poly-alpha,beta-[N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-L-aspartamide] (PHEA) as the backbone and poly(2,2-dimethyltrimethylene carbonate) (PDTC) segments with different lengths as the grafted branches were synthesized and characterized as discussed by the authors.
