TL;DR: In this article, the authors used the Supernova Cosmology Project (SCP) to fit R-band intensity measurements along the light curve of Type Ia supernovae discovered by the SCP to templates allowing a free parameter w = s(1+z).
Journal ArticleDOI

Strovink,Nao Suzuki,Lian-Tao Wang,Naoki Yasuda,Supernova Cosmology +37 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a new measurement of the volumetric rate of SNe Ia up to a redshift of 1.7 was presented, using the HST GOODS data combined with an additional HST data set covering the GOODS-North field collected in 2004.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented a technique for fitting restframe I-band light curves on a data set of 42 Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia), and constructed a Hubble diagram with 26 SNe from the subset at 0.01 < z < 0.1.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spectroscopic Observations and Analysis of the Unusual Type Ia SN 1999ac

Thomas,Nicholas A. Walton,Lian-Tao Wang,W. M. Wood-Vasey +56 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present optical spectra of the peculiar Type Ia supernova (SN Ia) 1999ac, which extends from -15 to +42 days with respect to B-band maximum and reveal an event that is unusual in several respects.
Improving Cosmological Constraints with New and Combined Supernova Datasets
TL;DR: The results of an analysis of the world SNe data are presented, complemented by a new dataset of low-redshift nearby-Hubble-flow SN Ia, and the cosmological constraints on the dark energy density are discussed.
